Anger as Boda Boda Riders Assault Female Motorist Along Forest Road - VIDEO

A video is making rounds online where a female motorist is seen to be assaulted by boda boda riders along Forest Road, Nairobi.

Witnesses claim the lady driver had allegedly been involved in an accident where she knocked a boda boda rider.

In the video, the lady is captured screaming helplessly as a group of men pounce on her trying to get her off the car while others are seen touching her inappropriately after tearing apart her clothes.


The video has ignited fury online with Kenyans On Twitter (KOT) calling upon the National Police Service (NPS) and the DCI to investigate and bring those implicated in the heinous act to book.

Unregistered Mobile Lenders To Cease Operation In Kenya

By Owino Nyakiti  September 17, 2022, is the deadline set by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) to get rid of Digital Credit Providers (DCP) who will not have been registered with the regulator. This comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta last year signed the Central Bank Act 2021, that placed all digital lenders under CBK. So far, CBK has already set a raft of measures to regulate the sector, saying owners of these mobile lenders will also be subjected to self-audit to tame money laundering in the country.
