Bahati Features Raila In New Collabo - VIDEO

Kenyan musician Bahati released a new song on March 7, in which Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga is featured.

Bahati took to his Instagram account to announce the release of his new hit on Monday.

“TRUST ME THIS IS THE BIGGEST SONG KENYA HAS HEARD ???? GUESS WHO IS FEATURED ON THIS COLLABO?” He wrote.

The song titled ‘Fire’ premiered on YouTube on Monday at 3:00 pm. Since then, it has more than 380K views and 26k likes.

Other politicians from across the divide affiliated to Azimio la Umoja including Hassan Joho, Kanini Kega, Junet Mohamed, Babu Owino, Maina Kamanda, Alfred Mutua, Maurice Ochieng’ (Mdomo Baggy), Julius Owino (Maji Maji) among others are also featured.

This is the second time Raila is featured in a music video after the recent remix of a popular song by Emmanuel Musindi “Leo ni Leo”

Unregistered Mobile Lenders To Cease Operation In Kenya

By Owino Nyakiti  September 17, 2022, is the deadline set by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) to get rid of Digital Credit Providers (DCP) who will not have been registered with the regulator. This comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta last year signed the Central Bank Act 2021, that placed all digital lenders under CBK. So far, CBK has already set a raft of measures to regulate the sector, saying owners of these mobile lenders will also be subjected to self-audit to tame money laundering in the country.
