BREAKING! KCSE Candidate Collapses To Death

A Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidate, Victor Kipkoech Mutai, a student at Chilchila Secondary School in Kipkelion West constituency, Kericho county, collapsed in the examination room, few minutes into writing his English examination.
He was then rushed for treatment at at Fort-Ternan Sub-county where he was declared dead.
Kericho county Commissioner John Kamua Karungo confirmed his demise.
"We are yet to know from the candidate’s family if he was suffering from any health condition which could have caused his demise," he said.

He added that the candidate reportedly did not show any signs of sickness beforehand.
"The rest of the candidates at the school are undertaking their examinations as the information of the incident is being properly managed not to cause anxiety among other students. " Said Mr. Karungo.
