Gospel Artist Threatens To Kill Daughter Over Broken Water Bottle - VIDEO

Stephen Kasolo, popular Kamba gospel singer, was caught on camera threatening to end his three-year-old daughter's life by strangling, for allegedly breaking his ‘expensive’ water bottle.

In the video, before asking his daughter to apologize to him and his fans, Kasolo is seen demonstrating to the toddler how he will strangle her in case she repeats the 'mistake'.  

The clip which was shared online by his wife shows the young girl crying helplessly while uttering sorry. Unconvinced that her daddy has accepted that she's in deed sorry, the baby girl goes further and tell him "nakupenda" meaning, "I love you".

Furious Kenyans who reacted on the post demanded for the parents' arrest and questioning by authorities. Others asked if the relevant bodies would access the already traumatized child and do proper counseling.

Kasolo on the other hand, issued an apology to Kenyans and his daughter noting that while the video caused tension, he never meant any harm. He has since disabled his comment section.

“Praise God my fans? I want to take this opportunity to apologise to my baby Shine Kasolo and all our fans for the video which is going viral, I never meant any harm to my daughter and I never will, nevertheless it has brought a lot of tension on social media. Kindly forgive me this will never happen again am sorry even before God,” he wrote.

Unregistered Mobile Lenders To Cease Operation In Kenya

This comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta last year signed the Central Bank Act 2021, that placed all digital lenders under CBK.
