KPLC Announces Lucrative Industrial Attachment Opportunities

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced lucrative industrial attachment opportunities in various departments for a maximum period of three (3) months effective May to July 2022.

"In line with the Government’s commitment to support youth empowerment, we are offering continuing Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma and Craft Certificate students an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on work experience and develop key employability skills. " KPLC tweeted.


In order to qualify, the candidates are required to be available full time for the duration of the program, be a continuing student pursuing a Degree, Diploma or Craft Certificate from a recognized institution and possess a valid introduction letter from the learning institution.

To apply, one must register at the careers portal on the KPLC website before submitting relevant information as will be required.

Unregistered Mobile Lenders To Cease Operation In Kenya

By Owino Nyakiti  September 17, 2022, is the deadline set by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) to get rid of Digital Credit Providers (DCP) who will not have been registered with the regulator. This comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta last year signed the Central Bank Act 2021, that placed all digital lenders under CBK. So far, CBK has already set a raft of measures to regulate the sector, saying owners of these mobile lenders will also be subjected to self-audit to tame money laundering in the country. Missing Witness In Obado's Murder Trial Found Alive
